I know in times like these, materialistic consumption of luxurious goods might be frivolous and insensitive; but in my mind, luxury has always been a choice and not a right. So for the lucky few in this world who can still permit themselves to afford hand-made European things, I say good for you!
Although it's always depressing to know that you'd never be able to buy a $5,000 Hermes suit or $2,500 Hermes briefcase to tackle the world of employment in style.
And I specifically mention Hermes just because a wonderful thing happened in New York City. Wonderful might be an overstatament; but in my books, it deserves a mention. Hermes just opened its first mens only Hermes store on Madison Avenue, just across from the flagship. Why is it awsome? Because Hermes is awsome. And why is Hermes awsome? Because it just is.
