I don't know how an accounting teacher deviates from the subject of Manufacturing Overheads to shopping in Paris at Lafayette, but it made me think about my check list I made not too long ago.
In that list, I included things I want to achieve in the very near future, so they are pretty benign; learn how to cook, play a few guitar chords, volunteer, etc. Nothing of very spectacular, but considering how they're such basic objectives I might want to do them while I'm still competent physically and psychologically.

To come back to the point (or lack thereof) that my teacher mentioned, I included in that list a trip to Paris (and Italy, although not necessarily mutually exclusive). It has come to a point where it's not just a frivolous want, but a must for me in order to be fulfilled with my life. To sum it up, to walk down the streets of Paris, visiting wineries in the Provinces and spend days at the Louvre will be the peak and prime of my existance on this planet. Similarly, Italy will also offer me this same feeling and joy even Christmas can't subsitute.
I don't when and how this will be achieved, but hopefully soon enough that I won't die before purchasing my plane ticket (*see post below*). My main concern right now is fund raising enough cash by the time I decide it is the moment for me to go. And go, I shall.
and go, you shall!
